The residence unfolds across two levels. The ground floor hosts the daily living areas — kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom — while the upper floor accommodates the bedrooms, a guest room, and additional bathrooms.

The entrance leads directly into the dining area, where wooden wall and ceiling claddings create a transitional passage toward the living room. The travertine dining table acts as a central element in the space and is visually unified with matching travertine finishes in the living area. There, wooden furniture and a geometrically orthogonal ceiling structure enhance the room’s sense of prestige and timelessness. The kitchen is separated from the living room by glass sliding doors, preserving visual continuity while also providing sound insulation. The design follows clean, minimalist lines with wood as the dominant material. The kitchen island combines white minimal surfaces with a glass countertop in a terracotta hue, offering a subtle touch of color.

The connection between the two levels is achieved through a wooden staircase at the entrance of the residence. Upstairs, the master bedroom is defined by the harmony of straight and curved wooden surfaces, creating a calm atmosphere enhanced by the earthy and neutral tones of the finishes and furnishings. In the children’s room, white dominates the storage units, while pastel shades on the desk and bed add vibrancy and a cheerful character without compromising the clarity of the design. Following the same design direction, the guest room combines white-toned furniture with glass surfaces in earthy shades.

Natural light is enhanced by skylights on the upper level, while artificial lighting has been precisely designed: linear fixtures and spotlights on magnetic tracks provide both functional and ambient lighting. On the ground floor, pendant and floor lamps complete the lighting experience, enabling varied lighting scenarios depending on family needs.

The residence consists of three levels and a roof garden. On the ground floor, there is an open-plan living space, on the first level, the resting areas and bathrooms, in the basement, the gym area, and on the roof, the jacuzzi and outdoor relaxation areas.

Entering the residence is the staircase, which guides you to the other levels of the house. Its design aims to discreetly separate it from the rest of the space. The staircase is cladded in white marble with vertical marble elements enhancing the sense of unity in the interior. The handrail is supported by a wooden structure, which encloses vertical lighting, emphasizing the height of the staircase.

The living room and dining area are located in front of the large balcony door and receive plenty of natural light, highlighting their importance in the space. In the living room, as a focal and meeting point both functionally and conceptually, a central custom-made piece has been designed that covers one wall. The fireplace, the television, and hidden storage and organization cabinets are created in this big piece of furniture. The variation of materials used characterizes the respective functional zones and creates a warm atmosphere. The linear hidden lighting highlights the wooden storage mass and simultaneously lightens it, differentiating it from the dark grey zone that runs lower.

The dining area and kitchen are discreetly defined by the use of black as a defining element and white as an element that lightens the space.

The master bedroom and bathroom follow the minimalistic design line that dominates the residence, combining black and white tones with wood, following a common aesthetic.

The lighting complements the design gestures. Specifically, recessed hidden linear lighting emphasizes the clean geometries created, while magnetic tracks are used on the ceilings, with linear lights and spotlights for direct lighting. Finally, pendant lights underline the relevance of the kitchen island and the dining area.

The layout of the cellar space is organized to serve the dual purposes of storage and display. The space is divided into two levels, creating two areas for wine placement according to their type and age. Bottle display line the perimeter of the space in specially designed structures. In the center of the space, a composition consisting of a large table, which hosts the wine tasting experience, and the cash register unify the two levels, creating a circular path around the space.

Industrial materials, shades of black and copper, in combination with strategically placed lighting, aim to create a cellar-like atmosphere. The black flooring extends seamlessly from the entrance throughout the space, emphasizing the space’s structure. Custom shelves are placed perimetrically the space suiting accordingly the proportions of the bottles. The surface hosting the metallic display of aged wines is covered with glass, emphasizing their different significance while simultaneously creating reflections, adding depth and visual interest to the space.

Lighting plays a significant role in shaping the overall atmosphere, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that accentuates the architectural composition of the space. Pendant thin fixtures at various lengths are placed in a staggered rhythm at different heights, providing direct lighting, while recessed spotlights offer general illumination in specific areas, accentuating the project’s features.

Upon entry, guests are greeted by light-colored wooden accents complemented by soothing tints of olive, creating a harmonious ambiance conducive to relaxation and healing. A large bench extends longitudinally the interior facade creating a minimal yet comfortable waiting area. The use of curves plays a key role in the definition of the boundaries of space and its character as a whole infusing the clinic with a sense of fluidity and warmth.

Functionality seamlessly melds with privacy as the clinic is divided into two distinct zones. The “public” zone, is where patients move freely (reception and waiting area) and the “private” zone, is where the medical services are provided (examination rooms, doctors’ office, services for the employees, WC, etc). This functional separation of public and private is soothed with the use of frosted semi-transparent glass doors allowing to observe human movement.

Moving further into the clinic, each examination room is a sanctuary of comfort and privacy. The walls are painted in calming shades of blue, promoting a sense of serenity and peace. Furniture, carefully selected for both form and function, seamlessly blend with the overall design aesthetic, creating a cohesive and inviting environment.

Adjustable lighting is strategically placed in the clinic to provide sufficient illumination for comfortable and efficient consultations. Recessed thin LED strips traverse from ceiling to the floor adding visual interest while maintaining a soothing atmosphere.

The main design axis focused on eliminating the visual fragmentation of the spaces caused by the strong presence of both columns and beams. At the same time, the desire for a calm and warm environment was a fundamental requirement for the apartment’s design. A key design tool was the use of wooden cladding, running peripherally on the masonry like a zone that unfolds below the height of the beams. The lighting placed on the upper part of the cladding emphasizes this zone and blurs the boundary between cladding and beams, creating a sense of height in the space. Wooden claddings are placed in all common areas and sections of the room walls, accommodating furniture at certain points, following a cohesive design language throughout the apartment. The use of wood and natural dyes applied to the walls results in an earthy and familiar outcome. The palette of the design materials is completed with marble and black color, emphasizing elements of the design and adding dynamism to the final result. The kitchen is treated as a unit, where the island is a continuation of the black marble floor, while its closed cabinets are part of the common wooden furniture shared with the living room, unifying these two spaces.

External functions organized around the pool, such as the dining-BBQ area, outdoor living space, and sun loungers, create relaxation zones with an unobstructed view of the city. Design-wise, these are addressed with built-in structures that seem to unfold and project as sculptural elements in the space.
